A very Special Trick or Treat

Dear Students,

Do you remember Halloween?

You come to my class, say "Trick or Treat!"

I give you candy.

Well, today I went to a CHURCH

I will show you some pictures and tell you how to get sweet candy.

1) ring the bell

2) the woman says in Latin "Ave María Purísima."

3) answer "Sin pecado concebido"

4) put the money in the shelf door, and turn it around

5) She puts the sweets on the shelf and gives you candy.

they are called "yemas" and they are soooooo sweet. here, you can see!

I reallly really like it! it is fun, delicious, and interesting! wow!

Studying language

Dear students... did you know, that when I was a student, that I also studied language???
I didn´t study English the way you do, but I studied Spanish!
and now....BUM BUM BUM...I am in SPAIN!!!!
I sleep at my friend´s house.
His name is PePe; Isn´t that a funny name?
He is a very funny guy.
He teaches me a lot of new words in Spanish.
It is difficult for me.
I don´t speak Spanish for so many years!!!
But you know what?
Now I am listening to Spanish, writing letters in Spanish, and practicing to talk in Spanish.
It is not easy!
¡Que Lastima! Es muy dificíl por me, pero nececito practicar mucho mucho.... THAT IS SPANISH....
I say it´s hard work, but more times I practice, the better I get.
And even more important: LISTEN!
then try to think what are they saying!
then, try to talk back. even if it is bad, if there are mistakes, you are still trying. you are still talking and using language. it is GOOD!

Students! I think I want to tell you,
Practice your English.
Someday like me, you will want to travel.
you will be so happy that you practiced, and you can use your what you learned.

For me, I am so happy I feel like laughing. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear Spanish everywhere.

I´m sorry I did not write for so long!

Hello my students!
I am sorry I haven´t written in a long time. I was sick, and I was so tired. But you are the first to see my pictures from Prague, also named Praha in Czech. It is a very beautiful city. I had a good time walking around and seeing the old buildings.







I saw a cemetery covered in vines. There were very old graves, and some cool statues. I loved it here.







I met again my friend, Stephanie. She was a teacher in Korea, too. now she is living in Praha. we cooked potato pancakes together. We saw the ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK! it is crazy! and it is very very famous. Wow, Praha has the biggest old castle, a very big church, rivers, art, and an interesting history. I had a good time with my friend, and loved the city of Prague!
